It’s January which means it’s time for another adventure!

This time, Hawaii 2018.

Literally the greatest job in the world.

So much gratitude.

I’m on the UP express to the airport with a bottle of bubbles, just thinking about how much I stand to gain over the course of the next two weeks: Incredible location with my friends from all over the world coming together. Then I’m returning to one of my favourite beaches in the world: Waimanalo! My husband and I rented a Beach house by the ocean. Cannot wait.

Last time we were there, it looked something like this picture below.

Hawaii, it’s us again...Good luck with us ;-)

Day 1:

Let the long journey begin!

My hubby dropped me off at up and joined me for the ride to the airport, sipping some bubbles en route. This is going to be a long ten hour flight over very turbulent air space, but like I say every time, for Hawaii, it’s worth it!

I cannot wait to put my feet in the ocean and breathe in the freeing air that Hawaii provides.
The world...such an incredible experience.
I’m trying hard to stay unplugged this trip as best I can and I’ll probably post these weeks after I’ve returned.
I’ll see you in the other side FB!

Day 2:

Arrived! Ran down to the beach to watch sunset with a cocktail in hand.

When I got back to the hotel, I woke up to a phone call around 3am telling me we need to evacuate because of a TSUNAMI WARNING!!

I called clint in a panic and repacked my bag while hotel officials knocked on all our doors.

We all left the hotel with one bag, planning to get to higher ground but luckily, it was CANCELLED after we were prepped to board a bus.

Enough said.

I was so exhausted, with a transpacific flight and a hotel evac. So i did the natural thing to do: sleep?

No.

I threw on my bathing suit and jogged to the beach. I sent the early hours jumping in the ocean, making friends and memories until sunrise.

Nothing makes my heart feel as free as walking with my feet in the sand alone in the other side of the planet.

Life is quiet an adventure.

Hopefully there is no Tsunamis tomorrow!

Day 3:

Jogging and sun!

I feel like I’m finally arriving and relaxing now. After a crazy late night and sunrise, I spent the day on the beach and, as usual, made friends with Vino!

Met some great peeps from WeHo and we drove around to some of my fav beaches on the east side of Oahu.

Great food, great cocktails on the beach, and great conversation with tribe mates you meet for only one day.

Thanks for the memories

Day 4:

Goodbye Oahu!

I’ll be back for more adventure in less than a week!

But another day, another boarding pass.

Off to Kona for the Hularama Dance Vacation.

Let me tell you, this place looks like no where I’ve ever seen before!

I can’t wait to see the work fam. Everyone from around the world is flying in now and soon I’ll see my Italian, Australian, American, and Canadian favourites.

We are all big tribe. ❤️

Day 5&6

Full days in the ballroom!

This is what I’m doing this week.

Dream job!!

Here’s to living the life you’ve only ever dreamed about.

Day 7:

This Dance vacation has been the perfect way to explore the big island.

The animals and volcanos, the friends and the dancing, shows and dinners: this has been something to remember.

Headed back to Oahu to meet my hubby tomorrow! I cannot wait 😃

Get here quick and safely Clinty!

Day 8:

Well, today turned out to be an unexpected best day of my life.

From where we land at the airport to where clint and I rented our cabin, is a long drive. Luckily the drive is along my favourite stretch of road in the world.

I arrived first, lint’s flight still has t gotten in. But here’s the story!

One of my fav songs came on in the Uber, so it started by me asking for the windows open and turned it up.

Then as we drove passed on of my fav beaches (Shelbie, Valerie, Nina, Shane, you know the beach), I told the Uber to stop.

We parked close enough that with the trunk open we could still hear music and we ran into the ocean as the sun was going down.

Thankfully, He had towels in his trunk!

So we made it to our “cabin.”

We’ll post about that tomorrow.

Life’s an adventure!

Goodnight world!

Day 9:

An ode to the man who changed everything for me. Clinton O’Neill-Williams.

I love you.

Welcome back to paradise.

Day 10:

Welcome to our cabin in Waimanolo!

We open directly to the ocean, only a few properties we share parking with and then it’s all sand and sun for us on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach I’ve ever seen.

We jog, we cook, we sleep, we workout, we swim, we Dress up and go for dinner. The night finishes with a walk on the beach and a kiss goodnight.

Big Hike Tomorrow!

Day 11:

How to describe this adventure...

We hiked for over an Hour in the rainforest, crossing rivers and climbing through pathless

Jungles, just hoping we were going in the right direction.

Needless to say we found the waterfall, and we were alone all afternoon, just a picnic and my Clinton.

It was perfection.

I can only Hope that everyone gets to swim in a waterfall alone someday.

There is nothing more freeing or romantic.

I’m a city guy, and I gotta say, today I didn’t miss the city at all.

My sense of wonder won this time.

Day 12:

From jungle waterfalls yesterday to mountain hikes today!

With a suggestion from Shane, we hiked the Lanakai pillboxes. Wow!

It was a blast, and the views were spectacular. As far as a hike goes, it’s easy, but the rewards are outstanding.

There was a bunch of Japanese tourists who kept asking what movie we were from and took 100s of pictures with us.

They were also amazed we were gay. Together. In public.

We also didn’t even bring shirts. And I climbed a majority of it in football shorts. That might be it.

Just two boys climbing a mountain. Nothing to see here.

What a world.

Day 13:

Beach day with Carolyn!!!

Four years ago, Carolyn met clint and I in Oahu and had a road trip to north shore! This year she came to join us on the east side. Beautiful day.

It’s amazing whe. You live a life where you see the people you never get to see, while visiting incredible places around the world.

Xo sister bear!

Ps my husband is in love with you.

And you can tell by my skin colour here, that I finally have my achieved Hawaiian tan!

Day 14:

Our last day in Waimanolo.

Time to rest and relax! It’s been a busy few vacation days. Maybe a little tennis here and there.

But seriously....

I’m gonna miss this place.

I want to come back here and rent a few of these cottages with friends one year!

Anyone down?

Day 15:

Back to Waikiki!

Gotta say, this city suits me just fine. It’s our third time here, my second time in two weeks here!

I love the ocean, the five star shopping and restaurants all in proximity to each other.

I can’t get enough of the coffee and everyone here is so kind and so beautiful.

We spent the day at our fav spa here at the Westin before going to a beach party to watch the fireworks.

We fly off tomorrow. It’s incr double how fast 16 days can go.

And it’s amazing how in just a moment, your life can be changed forever.

Day 16:

I am full of gratitude.

Reborn. Redefined.

Let’s do this, world!
